Corporate Information Management and Methods Department

The key objective of the CIMM department is to enable AfDB to leverage ICT to achieve organizational effectiveness, efficiency and ultimately achieve its strategic goals.  CIMM department aims to become a key business partner in achieving AfDB’s mission by:

  • Providing a connectivity infrastructure that serve as the Bank’s information services delivery platform   
  • Leveraging ICT to the fullest to ensure effective and efficient business operations
  • Championing innovations and business process re-engineering to continuously enhance the speed of doing business at a reduced cost

Business Applications Development and Enhancement

Principal activities include design, implement and maintain business applications and management information systems that support the Banks operations.

Infrastructure and Telecommunications

The core role entails management and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure and telecommunication systems which span across AfDB field offices.

Client Technology Services

The division serves as the “face” of CIMM, and the “one-stop-shop” for ICT services.  In addition, it provides quality assurance to ensure ICT services and products meet the needs of the users.
