Operationalising the SDGs to promote inclusive growth and transformational development in the context of addressing poverty and inequality in Africa


Objective of the Session
: This session seeks to move the SDG agenda towards its implementation phase, building on its adoption by world leaders in September 2015. The discussions under this session will therefore benefit from country and institutional strategies that have been formulated in order to move towards action at various levels inorder to shift Africa towards significant poverty and inequality reduction as well as onto a more sustainable and resilient pathway. The format will be a ‘Davos/CNN studio’ style with each speaker making a maximum 7-minute intervention followed by discussion in the panel and with the audience.
