Practical information
Immigration Formalities
Prior to travel, please ensure that you have complied with any Ethiopian immigration formalities that may be applicable to you. For those that will not be able to obtain visas from their home countries, arrangements will be made for entry visas to be issued to them upon arrival at the Airport. Kindly inform us immediately if you need entry visa arranged for you at the airport.
Vaccination
Ensure that your yellow fever vaccination is up-to-date and bring your vaccination certificate with you.
Venue and Accommodation
The conference will be held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), which is conveniently located in central Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is about fifteen minutes drive from the main airport and close to most hotels, restaurants and other tourist attractions. Costs of accommodation range from US$60 to US$140 per night (see the list of hotels).
