Colin Kirk

DR. COLIN KIRK has worked in international development for over 20 years, including many years in the evaluation field. He studied at the Universities of Cambridge, Colombo and Sussex, completing his DPhil in Social Anthropology at the University of Sussex.  He worked for several years as a social development analyst with the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), working mainly in South Asia and West Africa, and was appointed head of DFID’s Evaluation Department in 1999. In 2004, he moved to Kigali to head DFID’s office in Rwanda.

In 2007, he returned to evaluation and took up his current post as Director of operations evaluation at the African Development Bank in Tunis.
