Annual Report

The Bank Group Annual Report 2013 is the annual report submitted by the Boards of Directors of the African Development Bank (Bank) and the African Development Fund (Fund) to the Boards of Governors of the Bank and the Fund.

It contains the audited Financial Statements of the two institutions for the financial year starting from January 1 and ending December 31, 2013 and the Administrative Budgets for the period commencing January 1 and ending December 31, 2013. It also contains a review of the recent developments in the African economy and the operational activities of the Bank Group for the year 2013.

ADER-Annual Development Effectiveness Review 2014

Each year the African Development Bank publishes the Annual Development Effectiveness Review (ADER) to provide an overview of how it contributes to Africa’s development. The ADER 2014 is the fourth in the series, and explores the theme of Africa’s transformation into more fast-growing, and increasingly complex economies and societies. The ADER argues there is every prospect that Africa’s strong economic growth of the past 10 years will continue in the coming years. Read more

If you look at the money they get from fishing in African waters, it is more than the money they send to Africa through development aid. This is a case of the rich versus the poor. Therefore, as leaders, we must take action.
