Description

Good public financial governance is a prerequisite for Africa to mobilize its own revenues and grow out of aid. Defined as the legitimate use of power and authority in the management of a country’s financial resources with integrity, transparency, accountability, equity, it is intrinsic to development, economic growth and poverty reduction.

Aidan Keanly - South Africa 29/05/2012 09:22
The time has come for Africa to set its own governance framework, not what is preached by the West, supported by a pledge from all governments to join hands - for the benefit of Africa's people.
