Zimbabwe: First Line of Credit to Zimbabwe Development Bank (1.7 MB)

Abstract: This Intermediate Project Performance Audit Report (IPPAR) covers the first line of credit to Zimbabwe Development Bank (ZDB). The line of credit of UA 10.0 million was approved on 15 February 1990 and the loan agreement was signed on 31 May 1990. About 80 per cent of the approved amount was committed and fully disbursed within two years and the undisbursed amount was eventually cancelled. The relevant Project Completion Report was completed in June 1994.

Zambia: Third and Fourth Lines of Credit to Development Bank of Zambia (1.8 MB)

Abstract: This Project Performance Audit Report (PPAR) covers the third and fourth lines of credit to Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ). The third line of credit of UA 10 million was approved on 16 March 1982, the related loan agreement signed on 05 May 1982, and its disbursement was completed in May 1989. As regards the fourth line of credit of UA 15 million, approval and loan signature were on 25 June, 1987 and 30 September, 1987 respectively while disbursement was completed in February 1992. A Project Completion Report covering both lines of credit was completed in March 1994.

Morocco: Lines of Credit II, III, & IV to the Caisse Nationale te Credit Agricole (CNCA) (3.2 MB)

Abstract: This performance audit report (PPAR) concerns ADB’s second, third and forth lines of credit to the Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole (CNCA), amounting to UA 148.52 million. The Bank’s participation fell within the framework of the CNCA’s investment programme 198 1-1991 (the CNCA is Morocco’s foremost agricultural development agency). The programme, begun in 1981, received ADB’s first line of credit of UA 10 million.

Tunisia: First Agricultural Line of Credit to ` Banque Nationale D`Agriculture` (BNA) (3.7 MB)

Abstract: The present project performance audit report (PPAR) deals with the first agricultural line of credit to the Banque Nationale Agricole de Tunisie (BNA) which the ADB granted a loan of UA 18 million in 1985. The purpose of the loan was to contribute towards the achievement of food self-sufficiency. Its immediate objective was to develop agricultural production in order to meet the domestic demand and enable promoters to earn substantial revenues.

Mauritius: Third Line of Credit to the DBM (3.7 MB)

Abstract: The ADB Third Line of Credit to Development Bank of Mauritius (DIIM) Limited was approved in February, 1988 for an amount of UA 5,000,000. The line of credit was a follow-on operation to the second one, which had been granted to DBM in May 1982 in an amount of UA 3,000,000, in support of the Government of Mauritius (GOM’s) efforts at further developing the small- and medium-scale enterprises (SMSE) sector in particular and at economic diversification in general.

The first three lines of credit were granted to BNDT in December 1984, June 1988 and July 1990 and the remaining banks four development banks were granted lines of credit in Mrch 1988.
