Abstract: This Project Performance Audit Report (PPAR) reviews Jahaly-Pachar Smallholder Rice Project in the Gambia for which an ADF loan (CS/GAM/AGR/82/6) equivalent to. FUA 4.60; million, or UA 4 24 million, was approved in March 1982. The loan amount was rounded up from estimated costs equivalent to FUA 4.55 million. ‘Other Fund equivalent to FUA 10.59 million, or UA 9 75 million, were provided by the Government of the Gambia, IFAD, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Government of the Netherlands and the. World food programme (WFP). The financing plan at the time of appraisal, by component and donor; is shown in Annex 1. In 1986, a further financial input equivalent to FUA 0.47 million or UA 0.43 million, was provided by the United Support of Artistes for Africa (USAFA) organization.

Abstract: The present abridged project performance audit report (PPAR) is an evaluation of the primary education improvement and educational planning project in the. Gambia. The education project was identified in 1982 by a joint UNESCO/GAMBIA mission within the scope of the Gambian Governments. 1981-1986 economic and Social Development Plan an ADF/UNESCO mission prepared the terms of reference of the feasibility study which was financed by the African Development Fund (ADF) to the tune of UA 0 63 million in 1983. In 1986 the ADF appraised the project and approved a loan of UA4.14 million for its financing. The total project cost amounted to UA 4.56 million. The loan agreement entered into force in 1987. The project was completed in August 1993.

Other donors included IDA and the Netherlands Government, the total cost being FUA 28.42 million (US$33.83 million).

The programme was funded by ADF, IDA and the British ODA, the total cost being FUA 29.40 million.

Abstract: This post-evaluation report (PER) focuses on the phase II of the Banjul Yundum International Airport (BYI) development project in the Gambia. The project was approved in October 1976. it was parallel financed by the NTF, the SADF and the Abu Dhabi Fund at a total estimated cost of BUA 12.80 million (D 24.90 million) of which BUA 2.0 million (D 3.9 million) was contributed by the Bank Group through the NTF. It was the first project financed from the NTF.
