Abstract: This Project Performance Audit Report (PPAR) reviews the Health Services Development Project in Swaziland for which an ADS loan (AbB/SNZ/H/84/012) of BUA 5.13 million and an NTF loan (ADB/SWZ/H/841011) of BUA 5.00 million were approved in January 1984. Other funds amounting to the equivalent of BUA 3.52 million were provided by the Government of Swaziland, bringing the total financing to a sum equivalent to BUA 13.65 million.

Swaziland: Lonhlupheko - Loiiahasha Road (3.9 MB)

Abstract: This Project Performance Audit Report (PPAR) reviews the Lonhlupheko - Lomahasha Road Project in Swaziland for which a Bank loan (No. CS/SWZ/TR/81/009) of UA 5.30 million was approved in December 1981. The Project, which was formulated in the content of the country’s road network development, was aimed at providing an improved accessibility to the important agricultural area in the north-eastern region and also to provide for Swaziland, a landlocked country, the shortest and less costly alternative international road link to the seaport of Maputo in Mozambique, and, by so doing, to stimulate interstate cooperation, trade and development. A fourth objective was to assist the Government in implementing rural development programmes in the region by providing better services including agricultural extension services
