Projects Performance Evaluation Report

Abstract: This intermediate project performance audit report (intermediate PPAR) concerns the Togo Telecommunications Project in respect of which the ADF granted the Togolese Government in January 1990, a loan of UA 5,526,312, under the number F/TOG/TEL/90/11.

Abstract: This Project Performance Audit Report (PPAR) comprises the Project Performance Audit Memorandum produced by the Operations Evaluation Office and the project completion report produced by the Department of Infrastructure and Industry, North Region (NISI). It focuses on the NANGBETO hydroelectric project for which an ADB loan of UA 22.00 million (loan N° CS/BN/T/PU/83/OO1) was approved In July 1984 in favor of the Governments of Benin and Togo. ADB’s contribution represents l8.8. of the total project cost which had been estimated at UA 117.15 million; the remainder was financed by the IDA, Kuwait Fund, OPEC, BADEA, KFN, CCCE, CIDA, FAC, UNDP and CEB — an Inter—State organization responsible for electric energy production and transportation in the two States.

Abstract: The Yégué-Langadou road Project in the republic of TOGO, the subject of this post-evaluation report, was financed by ADF in April 1979 for an amount of FUA 8.00 million representing 69.5 per cent of the total cost of the project. In 1975, ADF granted the Togolese Government a loan of FUA 250.000 to finance the feasibility and engineering studies on the said road.
