Women entrepreneurs of less than 35 years, experience in enterprise creation and management, secondary education minimum.

Managing for Development Result (MDR)

The program is designed for people having Master’s Degree or PhD in Economics, Social Sciences or Development Studies or any field related to development. They should have at least 4 to 5 years working experience, preferably in managerial positions.
RMCs’ Decision Makers and officials involved in designing, implementing and/or supervising projects, programs and Country strategies (Ministries of Planning, Economy and/or Finance, sector Ministries).

Budgeting for Development Result: Analytic Framework and best practice (BDR)

This course is aimed at mid- to senior level public officials from sectors or departments applying fully or partially (even as an experiment) managing for results.

Macroeconomic Management and Debt Issues

This course, presented by the IMF Institute, aims at deepening participants' understanding of fiscal policy issues and their implications for macroeconomic management.  It covers the interrelations between fiscal variables and macroeconomic aggregates, and the main aspects of the design and implementation of fiscal policy as an instrument to achieve macroeconomic adjustment, growth, and poverty reduction.  The course draws on the Fund's experience in providing fiscal policy advice, on studies undertaken by Fund staff, and on selected research by outside scholars. Country case studies are used to illustrate the challenges faced by the authorities in addressing fiscal policy issues. 

During the course, participants are expected to work in small groups on a topic of their choice on which they make a presentation at the end of the course. Prior to joining the course, participants are encouraged to identify possible topics and gather relevant information.

Participants should have an advanced degree in economics or equivalent experience, as well as proficiency in the use of spreadsheets.

Project Management Training

The workshop targets mainly four categories of participants:  The Projects National Coordinators and the Implementation Units staff, the ADB Task Managers from the Headquarters and the Country Office, Ministries’ Officials whose action or inaction can impact on the projects progress, other stakeholders such as beneficiaries, consultants or contractors.  

Participants must be currently involved in one of the selected projects, either as a direct staff, consultant or contractor, or as a supervisor from the sector Ministry.  Alternatively, she/ he may also represent the beneficiaries.

Capacity Development for Climate Change

The workshop targets about 30 Bank staffs, including program officers and senior programme specialists from the Country Offices.

Participants should have experience with project management and be comfortable with issues related to energies and climate change.

Gender and Infractructure Workshop for Africa Region

Task managers of infrastructure projects and gender experts of MDBs, representatives of government institutions of infrastructures (roads, energy, water & sanitation and irrigation) and selected CSOs.
Participants should have experience with project management and be comfortable with issues related to infrastructure sector.

Role of Parliamentarian in Promoting Good Public Finance Management and Accountability (RPPGPF)

African Parliamentarians, especially Financial Committee members involved in performing oversight functions over public finance.

Trade Negotiation and Regulation Training in Cotton (TNRC)

Mid- to senior-level officials involved in trade negotiations and the formulation and implementation of trade policies in their respective countries and senior-level officials involved with regulation in trade ministries.

Participants should be involved in trade negotiation and regulation.

Project Implementation Workshop

The workshop is designed for projects managers, procurement and disbursement officers as well as those involved in the financial management of Bank-funded projects.

Participants must have a solid experience in procurement or in disbursement and financial management. They must be involved in the management of Bank-funded projects.
