Course description

RMCs Officials from Ministries in charge of Economics, Finance, Industry, Regional Integration and Inclusive
Growth, Labor, Environment, Social and Women Affairs. Other audiences include General Directors of the Ministry of Planning and of sectoral Ministries, Bank staff working on the issues of public policies, regional integration and inclusive growth.

The course aims to discuss the problem of illicit financial flows and policies for sustainable and responsible external borrowing and transparency in the global financial system. The course content will include illicit financial flows: typology, scope magnitudes, actors and channels; capital flight and its impact; tax evasion: magnitude, cost and solutions; illicit flows from and to safe havens.
