This workshop is designed for officials involved in the definition and the execution of development policies and strategies, and civil society’s representatives taking part in the implementation of strategies and programs of development.
The objective of this workshop is to introduce a culture of management-based results in the participants’ countries. It is an opportunity to exchange ideas regarding the significance of the Paris Declaration and Accra Agenda; as well as concepts of results’ chain.
Also, it aims to broaden participants understanding of types of interrelationships between the partners to the development.
This workshop is intended to enable the participants to master the notions relative to the hierarchy of goals and the different levels of outcomes. Moreover, it is aimed at allowing attendees to understand the range of performance indicators and better identify the risks related to the execution of programs and projects. The workshop will be five days long and will provided with simultaneous translation; and covers the following themes: (1) the pillars of the Paris Declaration and Accra Plan of Action; (2) the Bank’s commitment regarding the implementation of the Paris statement; (3) the definition of the policy, strategy, program and project; as well as the relationships between these different concepts, etc.
