15/11/2010 - La seconde Réunion de Conseil du Forum sur l’Administration Fiscale Africaine (ATAF) s’est ouverte ce lundi 15 novembre 2010 à Tunis. Co-organisée par la BAD, cette réunion a été ouverte par le président du Groupe de la BAD, Donald Kaberuka, en présence du VP OSVP Kamal El-Kheshen, du directeur OSGE, Gabriel Negatu et du président d’ATAF, Oupa Magashula.

The 2nd Council meeting of the African Tax Administrators Forum (ATAF) opened on Monday, 15 November 2010 in Tunis. Jontly organised by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and ATAF, the meeting is in line with the AfDB's effort to help in strengthening domestic resources mobilization, fiscal self reliance and capacity development in Africa as well as to reinforce the Bank’s strategic partnership with ATAF. Dozens of participants will attend the meeting.

04/11/2010 - The Global Agriculture and Food Security Fund (GAFSP) Steering Committee approved on, Wednesday, 3 November 2010 in Washington D.C., a USD 97-million grant allocations to three countries. The selected countries are: Ethiopia (USD 51.5 million), Niger (USD 33 million) and Mongolia (USD 12.5 million). For Niger, the implementation will be done by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and for Ethiopia, by the AfDB and World Bank.
