A Microsoft delegation on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, concluded a two-day working visit to the Bank Group. The visit served as an opportunity for both parties to agree on concrete areas of cooperation on ICT in the fields of health, education, public administration and governance. Countries targeted include Nigeria, Senegal, Angola and Kenya.

The mission builds on the present momentum in the bilateral relationship with Angola to give impetus to the Bank’s re-engagement with the country and strengthen cooperation.

12/03/2009 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group will help support environmental conservation and sustainable development in Angola with a loan of 12 million Units of Account, equivalent to US$ 17.6 million approved on Wednesday in Tunis by the institution’s Board of Directors.

14/11/2007 - The Boards of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved today in Tunis, loans amounting US$ 334.27 million to finance energy and financial management support projects in Egypt and Angola. The Bank approved US$325 million for Egypt and US$ 9.27 million for Angola.
