11th Asset and Liability Management and Multilateral Development Bank Risk Management Forum

The African Development Bank Group will be hosting the 2012 Asset and Liability Management and MDB Risk Management Forum in Tunis from September 27-28, 2012. The forum will be attended by delegates from several multilateral development banks and financial institutions, including:
- European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
- European Investment Bank (EIB)
- International Finance Corporation (IFC)
- Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
- Asian Development Bank (ADB)
- The World Bank’s International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)
- Nordic Investment Bank (NIB)
- European Investment Fund (EIF)
- Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB)
- African Development Bank Group (AfDB)
The format of the forum will be based on presentations of specialized topics as well as interactive open-floor discussions in which participants will share experiences and thoughts on ALM and Risk Management issues.

- Session 1: Update on Risk Management Organization structures and key initiatives implemented since the last meeting
- Session 2: Rating agencies and regulatory environment
- Session 3: Capital Adequacy I
- Session 4: Capital Adequacy II
- Session 5: Treasury investment policies/guidelines and strategies
- Session 6: Counterparty credit risk and Collateral Risk Management
