AfDB-AFD discuss on opportunities for cooperation

A delegation from the African Development Bank, led by A. Rakotobe, Head of the NEPAD Unit and Director of the Infrastructure Department, North, East and South regions, has just come back from Paris, where it held meetings with the French Development Agency (AFD). The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in supporting initiatives within the NEPAD framework. The meeting also focused on some concrete proposals and agreed on an action plan whose implementation will start as early as January 2006.
