Bank Group and Chad Sign Grant Agreement

The Bank Group and Chad on 17 June, 2009, in N’djamena signed an African Development Fund (ADF) grant agreement of Uunits of Accounts (UA) 31.61 million to finance the Koumra-Sarh road maintenance project. The AfDB Resident Representative in Chad, Pascal Bitoumbou, signed for the Bank, while the country’s Economy and Plan Minister, Ousman Matar Breme, signed for his country. The grant agreement was witnessed by several ministers, senior officials of technical ministries and staff of the Chad field office.
