Ethiopia-AfDB: A Harmonization Code of Conduct

The African Development Bank (ADB) Group and other donors in Ethiopia have signed a Harmonization Code of Conduct in the health sector with the Ethiopian Minister of Health.

The signing came at the end of the 7th Annual Review meeting of the Health Sector Development Program in Nazareth, Ethiopia, from 3 – 7  October, 2005.

The ADB Group was represented by a delegation that included the Manager of the Social Development Division of the ADB Group in charge of Ethiopia, the ADB group Resident Representative in Addis Ababa Pierre T. Seya and the Social Sector Specialist of the ADB office in Ethiopia, Girma W. Tsadik.

Mr. Ilunga, who signed on behalf of the Bank, said that the Code "is an expression of the willingness of the government and donors to work together towards better health for all Ethiopians."
