High-level Forum on financing of investments for agriculture in sub-Saharan Africa

Paris-December 8, 2008 - Boosting agriculture in Africa requires investments in roads, irrigation schemes, storage, production, marketing, processing, research and institutions. Private and public investments should be coordinated. The Forum should propose practical solutions to strengthen relations between private investments and public subsidies within the framework of the national and sub-regional policies of African countries.
