Mali Office: Off the Ground

The African Development Bank (ADB) Group Resident Representant in Mali, Mr. Jean-Pierre Rigoulot, presented his letters of credence on Tuesday in Bamako to the Malian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Moctar Ouane.

Mr. Rigoulot who was accompanied by Mr. Bâ Mamadou Samba, Coordinator of operations in the Bureau, quoted the Malian minister as saying he would assist the mission accomplish its task "under the best possible conditions".

The ResRep has also been involved in a number of seminars notably, those organized by the Bank on capacity building within the framework of the International Comparative Program for Africa. He has also played host to visiting missions, notably those on CSPs dialogues.

He also held meetings with the Director of Protocol of the Republic, Mr. Diarra for discussions on conditions of residence for international staff in Mali.
