Regional Economic Communities CEOs Seminar on NEPAD

The Bank organized this seminar, held in Abuja, Nigeria,  for the Chief Executive Officers of the Regional Economic Communities (RECs). It was focused at raising awareness of the RECs on NEPAD and discussing NEPAD initiatives implementation at the RECs level. During the seminar, the Bank presented an exposé on the issues linked to the implementation of regional and sub-regional infrastructure programmes; the Bank also presented the role of lead agencies in NEPAD programmes. Other participants made presentations on related topics.
