South Sudan became an independent country and Africa’s 54th sovereign nation on 9 July, 2011. The Government of South Sudan looks forward to welcoming the thousands of South Sudanese across Africa and the Diaspora who wish to return home. In its efforts to encourage the people of South Sudan to take ownership of the governance and development of this new nation, the government and its international partners are proactively addressing the ‘human capacity gaps’ in the civil service in both federal and local government agencies.

The Government of South Sudan, in partnership with the African Development Bank, has launched a CV Registry to help those who may be seeking employment opportunities in the country. The Ministry of Human Resource Development and other government ministries will review CVs received through the registry. These CVs will be matched with appropriate openings within the public sector, where available.

South Sudan requires a skilled and dedicated workforce in order to implement its national development plan and other goals effectively. The country needs qualified professionals to help it address challenges and who can share in the nationbuilding process.

Be a part of South Sudan’s history. Register your CV here.

This is a great news. As soon as better for the government to request Southerners to come home, chances for development are much greater. There are many out there who really wanted to come home to help in rebuilding the country from the scratch, and this is the right time to do this. It is the first step and good one from the government.

Hello!

My name is Daniel Kai tudel, and I,m one of South Sudanese people who live in diaspora here in Sweden.

My comment is based on the decision that the Government of South Sudan made to welcome home the South Sudanese people who live in diaspora. It is a right decision because Republic of South Sudan needs the people who have the work experiences and good knowledge about how to build up the new Nation. South Sudan as a new independent Nation, it needs good start from the beginning in term of its development. It is the right time now for South Sudanese people to build the Country and to show the World that they can do the job! The government of South Sudan will cooperate with the International Community and African Union inorder to help the people of South Sudan through their development. All South sudanese people who want to work and can do it, have to get employment from the government of South Sudan. Our Society needs to be established in the right way and not with corruption, misunderstanding and lawlessness. All kinds of bad things that will retard our development must be abolish! The kids must go to school as soon as possible and the healthcare and clean water must be available in the Society. South Sudan needs the good of work labour to meet the globals challenges and competition.
Thanks!

A man who love peace & justice!
