29/11/2012 - The African Development Bank is investing in the Lake Chad Region to empower particularly women in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDs. The AfDB has been supporting skills building and education of health service providers as part of its strategy to develop the region’s human capital and improve health service delivery and HIV/AIDS responses.

20/04/2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) has launched the second call for proposals under the Migration and Development Fund (MDF). This second call for proposals, open from 15 April to 31 May 2012, is targeting project sponsors in Central Africa and the Indian Ocean.

05/04/2012 - Le Bureau de la BAD au Tchad a abrité à Ndjamena, le 3 avril, les consultations nationales sur la stratégie à long terme de la BAD (2013-2022), sous la présidence du ministre des infrastructures et des équipements, Abbas Tolli, représentant le ministre du plan, de l’économie et de la coopération internationale, Kordje Bédoumra. Une trentaine de participants constitués des représentants du gouvernement, de la société civile, du secteur privé, du milieu académique, des organisations féminines et des mass-médias ont pris part aux travaux.

23/11/2011 - At its 41st Council Meeting held in Washington, D.C. on 9 and10 November 2011, the Global Environment Facility (GEF) approved a grant of USD 20.5 million for the Lake Chad Basin Regional Program for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Energy Efficiency.

08/07/2011 - Le conseil d’administration du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le financement du projet d’infrastructures rurales, pastorales et de transhumance (PIRPT) au Tchad, pour un montant de 11,5 millions d’euros dont 50% de prêt et 50% de dons. Ces fonds seront prélevés sur les ressources du Fonds Africain de Développement (FAD, guichet concessionnel du Groupe de la BAD). Le PIRPT sera mis en œuvre sur une durée de cinq ans (2011-2016).

03/02/2011 - Le conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), guichet concessionnel du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), a approuvé le 1er février 2011 un prêt d’un montant de 14,73 millions de dollars américains au gouvernement de la République du Tchad. Cette décision s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un prêt supplémentaire pour le financement du Projet de Gestion et de valorisation des Ressources Naturelles en zone soudanienne (PGRN).
