18/06/2008 - The Congo Basin Forest Fund (CBFF), a multi-donor facility established to take action to protect the forests in the Congo Basin region, was launched in London on Tuesday by Prime Ministers Gordon Brown of Britain, Jens Stoltenberg of Norway and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President, Donald Kaberuka.

25/02/2008 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a réaffirmé vendredi, à Tunis, son engagement à appuyer la Commission des forêts d’Afrique Centrale (COMIFAC) et ses institutions partenaires pour la mobilisation des financements additionnels auprès d’autres institutions financières internationales et partenaires au développement. La conférence sur les mécanismes de financement de la gestion durable des écosystèmes forestiers du bassin du Congo, qui a pris fin dans la capitale tunisienne, a décidé de la mise en place au sein de la BAD d’un Fonds Spécial pour le financement durable des forêts du Bassin du Congo.
