29/11/2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), African Union Commission (AUC) and Institute of National Statistics (INS) of Côte d’Ivoire organized the 8th African Symposium on Statistical Development (ASSD) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, from November 27-29, 2012.
07/11/2012 - The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is pleased to announce the 2nd call for proposals of the Microfinance Capacity Building Fund (“MCBF”). Award amounts will range from US $200,000 to US $500,000 per project, depending on the activity, and will be given to approximately 6-8 awardees.

11/10/2012 - The Governors Consultative Committee (GCC) of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group today in Tokyo, Japan, endorsed the transmission of the road map for the Bank’s return to its headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to the Board of Governors for consideration during the AfDB’s Annual Meetings to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, in May 2013.
06/07/2012 - The financial closing ceremony for the construction, operation and maintenance of the Henry Konan Bedie Toll Bridge Project in Abidjan ('Abidjan’s 3rd bridge') was held at the White & Case law firm Paris on 28 June in a ceremony attended by the Ivorian Minister of Economy and Finance, Charles Koffi Diby and the Minister of Economic Infrastructure, Patrick Achi.

M. Ouattara a ainsi souhaité que la banque commémore ‘’chez elle’’ en novembre 2014, dans la capitale économique ivoirienne, le 50ème anniversaire de sa création.
07/03/2012 - The African Development Bank‘s (AfDB) Board of Directors has approved a €58 million loan (equivalent to FCFA 38 billion) towards the financing of the construction, operation and maintenance of the 1.9 km-long Henri Konan Bédié Toll Bridge to be built over the Ébrié lagoon in Abidjan, in what will be the Bank’s first private sector operation in the country in more than a decade. Today’s Board approval marks AfDB’s strong commitment to lead and actively contribute to Côte d’Ivoire’s reconstruction efforts following the decade-long political conflict that adversely affected the country’s essential infrastructure.
02/03/2012 - The Board of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved an equity investment of USD 50 million into the Carlyle Sub Saharan Africa Fund on 22February. This fund is the first investment vehicle that the US-based private equity firm The Carlyle Group has raised to pursue its geographical expansion into sub-Saharan Africa.
02/03/2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Board of Directors has approved a grant of approximately €25 million (CFA 16.4 billion) to Côte d’Ivoire to finance an agricultural infrastructure support project in the Indénié-Djuablin region.
04/01/2012 - The Migration and Development Fund’s oversight committee recently approved a series of grants amounting to € 1.4 million to six remittances funded local development projects across the African continent.
29/11/2011 - Donald Kaberuka, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), concluded an official two-day visit to Côte d’Ivoire today. The AfDB chief executive and Daniel Kablan Duncan, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Côte d’Ivoire, signed a revised Headquarters Agreement of the AfDB in Abidjan.
