18/12/2012 - Le Directeur du Nepad, de l’Intégration régionale et du Commerce à la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), Alex Rugamba et le Ministre d’Etat centrafricain au Plan et à l’Economie, Abdou Karim Mékassoua, ont signé, le 17 décembre à Tunis, un protocole d’accord relatif à la première phase du projet d’interconnexion des réseaux électriques de la République centrafricaine et de la République démocratique du Congo à partir du système hydroélectrique de Boali.

23/11/2012 - The Board of Directors approved, on 26 September 2012, the revised Bank Group Energy Sector Policy. This policy supersedes the 1994 Bank Group Energy Sector Policy and the 1985 Framework for Public Utility Tariff Policy previously applied to Electric Power, Telecommunications, Water Supply and Sanitation operations. It is the product of broad based and transparent consultations internally within the Bank Group and externally with key stakeholders including the regional member countries (RMCs), regional economic communities (RECs), the private sector, development partners and the civil society.

22/11/2012 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et l'Agence marocaine de l'énergie solaire (MASEN) ont procédé, sous la présence effective du Roi Mohamed VI, le 19 novembre à Rabat, à la signature des accords de prêts et de garanties relatifs au projet de la première phase de la centrale solaire de Ouarzazate. Les accords sont d’un montant de 238,12 millions d’euros, soit un total de 2.7 milliards de dirhams. Ce financement est constitué de 168 millions d’euros provenant des ressources propres de la BAD et d’un prêt concessionnel de 100 millions de dollars du Fonds pour les technologies propres (FTP), dont la BAD est l’agence d’exécution.
