The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) will organize a workshop to review Technical and Vocational Skills Development (TVSD) initiatives and experiences in Africa, from March 24-26, in Ouagadougou. The workshop will guide preparations of studies on TVSD for the 2011 ADEA Triennial, which will take place from 27 November to 2 December 2011 in the Burkinabe capital.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) organized on Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Dakar, a meeting for the dissemination of the institution’s capacity-building strategy. The African Development Bank (AfDB) will be hosting, 1-5 December 2009 in Tunis, the 4th Annual Meeting of the Harmonization for Health in Africa (HHA) initiative. What is exceptional about this year’s meeting is that it will convene a special two-day session involving Permanent Secretaries from Ministries in charge of Finance and Health from over a dozen African countries to deliberate on the Investment Case for Health Expenditures in Africa and to explore strategies to enhance coordination between these ministries.
