The Committee of Ten (C-10) of African finance ministers and central bank governors will hold its next meeting on 19 April, 2012, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC. The African Development Bank president, Donald Kaberuka, will head his institution’s delegation and he will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony.

The President of the African Development Bank, Donald Kaberuka will undertake an official visit to South Africa from 8 to 15 March 2011. During the visit, President Kaberuka will hold high-level talks with South African Authorities on issues of common interest to the Bank and South Africa. The program of the mission includes among others, high level discussions on the pace of global recovery, emerging risks, and South Africa’s leadership role in the C-10 group of African countries and in advancing the African agenda at the G20, as well as a roundtable discussion with South African financial institutions.
