12/10/2011 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) is to finance the rehabilitation of rural infrastructure in Gabon. The Bank’s Board of Directors has approved a loan of roughly USD 68.7 million to finance the Rural Infrastructure Rehabilitation Support Project in the country.

10/08/2009 - Gabon’s interim President, Rose Francine Rogombe, on Friday 7 August 2009, officially launched the third section of a major road construction program (PR1), in which the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group is contributing CFAF 165 billion (about US$ 350 million), representing 90% of the total cost of the project. This amount is the largest transport sector loan ever granted by an AfDB to a regional member country.

10/08/2009 - Gabon’s interim President, Rose Francine Rogombe, launched on Tuesday, 4 August 2009, at Lebamba and Mouila, the first phase of a huge highway project (PR1), for which the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved the biggest transport sector loan ever to a regional member country. The Bank Group is contributing FCFA 165 billion (about US$ 350 million), representing 90% of the CFAF 183 billion (about 390 million U.S. dollars), which the entire project is estimated to cost.

22/07/2009 - Gabon’s efforts to enhance technical skills in potential growth sectors received the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Wednesday in Tunis, where the institution’s Board of Directors approved a loan of CFAF 71.5 billion, equivalent to 99.30 million Units of Account (US$154 million) to finance a Public Services Higher Education and Vocational Training Support Project.
20/02/2008 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has signed an agreement for a loan of € 10 million under its private sector window with the Tropical Agriculture Investment Company (SIAT) of Gabon to finance an agriculture expansion project in the country.
