22/11/2012 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et l'Agence marocaine de l'énergie solaire (MASEN) ont procédé, sous la présence effective du Roi Mohamed VI, le 19 novembre à Rabat, à la signature des accords de prêts et de garanties relatifs au projet de la première phase de la centrale solaire de Ouarzazate. Les accords sont d’un montant de 238,12 millions d’euros, soit un total de 2.7 milliards de dirhams. Ce financement est constitué de 168 millions d’euros provenant des ressources propres de la BAD et d’un prêt concessionnel de 100 millions de dollars du Fonds pour les technologies propres (FTP), dont la BAD est l’agence d’exécution.

24/10/2012 - A supplementary Technical Cooperation Agreement of the Korea Africa Economic Cooperation (KOAFEC) Trust Fund was signed on October 16, 2012, between Jaewan Bahk, Minister of Strategy and Finance, Republic of Korea, and Donald Kaberuka, President of the African Development Bank Group, during the KOAFEC Ministerial Conference in Seoul, Korea.

18/10/2012 - La Banque africaine de développement et le gouvernement du Bénin ont signé, mercredi 17 octobre 2012 à Tunis, un accord de prêt de 24 milliards de Francs CFA, en appui à la mise en œuvre des réformes économiques et financières du pays.

05/10/2012 - Mr. Ebrima Faal, Regional Director at the Southern Africa Resource Center (SARC) of the African Development Bank (AfDB), signed on behalf of the AfDB the agreements for a loan of ZAR 65 million from the AfDB to Trustco Finance (part of the Namibia based “Trustco” group) to support its student lending program in Namibia. The signing ceremony took place in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. Also taking part in the ceremony were DEG and Proparco who signed the agreements for loans to Trustco Finance of ZAR 50 million each.

29/08/2012 - The African Development Bank Group, UNICEF and the Government of Madagascar signed a US $1-million grant agreement to fund rehabilitation of social infrastructure in the country following the devastating cyclones Giovanna and Irina, which hit the country in February. The signing took place on August 23 in Brickaville, about 250 km east of Antananarivo.

27/08/2012 - The Government of Ethiopia and the African Development Bank signed a US$ 251-million loan agreement Friday for the “Promoting Basic Services” (PBS) Phase III Program at a ceremony held at the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in Addis Ababa. H.E. Ahmed Shide, State Minister of Finance and Economic Development, and Mr. Lamin Barrow, the Bank’s Resident Representative in Ethiopia, signed on behalf of the Government of Ethiopia and the African Development Bank respectively.

09/08/2012 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et le gouvernement de la République centrafricaine (RCA) ont signé, mardi à Tunis, un accord de don de 16 millions d’unités de compte, soit environ 24 millions de dollars, pour le financement du programme d’appui aux réformes économiques. Cet appui budgétaire en soutien aux réformes, le troisième du genre, vise à consolider et améliorer les réformes et la gouvernance dans les secteurs public et privé conformément à la stratégie en cours de la BAD en RCA.

24/07/2012 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) vient d’octroyer 80 milliards de FCFA au Burkina Faso pour la réhabilitation de routes et la facilitation du transport sur le corridor avec le Togo. La cérémonie de signature de l’accord de financement a eu lieu le jeudi 19 juillet 2012, à Ouagadougou, entre le gouvernement du Burkina Faso, représenté par M. Lucien Marie Noël Bembamba, ministre de l’économie et des finances et la Banque, représentée par Mme Ginette Nzau-Muteta, représentante résidente de la Banque africaine de développement au Burkina Faso.
