30-Nov-2023 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group on 29 November 2023 granted financial support of EUR 73.44 million to Cameroon for the construction of a bridge over the River Ntem, which forms a natural boundary with Equatorial Guinea. The bridge building is part of the Regional Trade and Transport Facilitation Project for the economic corridor between Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

FCMB will use the line of credit to expand lending activities that will boost the country’s post-pandemic economic recovery and drive more inclusive and climate-resilient growth. It will focus on enterprises in Nigeria's agribusiness, manufacturing, healthcare and renewable energy sectors.

African Development Bank, Tanzania sign $125.2 million loan agreement to address water shortages in Dodoma region

27-Jun-2022 - The African Development Bank and the Tanzanian government have signed a $125.2 million loan agreement for a project that will help address water shortages in three districts in the country’s Dodoma region. The Dodoma Resilient and Sustainable Water Development and Sanitation Program (Phase I) will benefit more than two million residents in the Bahi, Chemba and Chamwino districts, which have suffered droughts and recorded high population growth.

03-Oct-2020 - The President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, has officially launched a project to widen the Civil Prison Road, under the Abidjan Urban Transport Project (PTUA). "This is a very important project, for which we thank the African Development Bank and its president," said Alassane Ouattara at a sod-cutting ceremony held on Saturday 3 October to launch the construction. The project will be executed over 17 months on the eastern outskirts of the Ivorian economic capital.

24-Jul-2020 - The African Development Bank on Friday approved grants worth about $41.16 million to Djibouti to bolster the national budget in support of government efforts to mitigate national and regional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding will take the form of an African Development Fund grant for $4.12 million and a $37.04 million grant from the Bank’s Regional Operations Envelope. The Bank is providing the funding under its COVID-19 Response Facility.
