28/12/2012 - The African Development Bank and the Government of the Republic of Zambia signed, on December 19, a loan agreement for US $55 million to support the Itezhi-Tezhi Hydro Power and Transmission Line Project through the construction and operation of a 120 megawatt hydropower plant at Itezhi-Tezhi dam along the Kafue River. This loan was approved by the Bank’s Board of Executive Directors on June 13, 2012.

03/12/2008 - Zambia and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Tuesday in Lusaka, signed a US$ 24 million Loan Agreement to finance the country’s Second Poverty Reduction Budget Support (PRBS) program, which aims at developing the private sector and improving public finance management.

19/11/2008 - The Bank Group and the Malawi Government on Wednesday, November 18, 2008, in Lilongwe signed loan and grant agreements totalling US$ 60.2 million equivalent to UA 43.31 million to finance some components and activities in the National Water Development Programme and the Local Economic Development Project during the next five years.
