18/09/2014 - Executive Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) met in Abidjan on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, and approved five projects worth US $144.4 million for Mali, Angola and Burkina Faso.
21/08/2014 - The African Water Facility (AWF) offered on August 20, 2014 a €1.3 million grant to the Water Research Commission of the Republic of South Africa to improve water delivery services, an initiative that will be supported and driven by the beneficiary communities of Limpopo province. Over 20,000 people are expected to get improved access to water for domestic and agriculture purposes, among others.
30/06/2014 - The Board of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved on June 27th the creation and management of a pilot Africa Climate Technology Finance Center and Network (ACTFCN) for a three-year period to support the deployment and scaling-up of both climate change mitigation and adaptation technologies.

19/06/2014 - Le Conseil d’administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 13 juin 2014 à Tunis, un projet de bitumage de l’axe Kyabe-Kingako au Tchad. Le montant du financement de cette importante infrastructure est de 80 millions 300 mille unité de compte (UC), soit environ 123 millions 700 mille dollars.
17/06/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved on 13 June 2014 a loan of USD 300 million to Dangote Industries Limited for the construction and operation of a greenfield crude oil refinery and a greenfield fertilizer manufacturing plant.
29/05/2014 - The Agriculture Fast Track Fund (AFT) has awarded two grants worth almost US$650,000 to high value agriculture infrastructure projects in Tanzania. Tanga Fresh UHT Milk Factory and Kijani Agro Integrated Horticulture projects have been selected for their strong impact on local communities in Tanzania. They will be receiving funding to finance their market analyses, produce site surveys and other costs.

EcoFarm Sugar Cane Production and Odebrecht Integrated Poultry Production projects have been selected for their strong impact on local communities in Mozambique. They will be receiving funding to finance their market analyses, site surveys and other preparation costs.
29/05/2014 - The AfDB’s Agriculture Fast Track Fund (AFT) has awarded four new grants amounting to almost US$2,000,000 to high value agriculture infrastructure projects in Mozambique and Tanzania. EcoFarm sugar cane production and Odebrecht Integrated Poultry Project have been selected in Mozambique, while Tanga Fresh UHT milk production and Kijani Agro high quality fresh fruits and vegetables in Tanzania will receive funding.
07/04/2014 - The Board of Executive Directors of the African Development Bank approved on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 an African Development Fund (ADF) loan of US $52.5 million for the Government of Tanzania to finance a Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Teacher Education Project in Tanzania.
27/03/2014 - The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is leveraging support to Zambia’s National Agriculture Investment Plan (NAIP: 2014-2018) with the approval of a US $31.12 million (UA 20.54 million) grant from the Global Agriculture and Food Security Programme (GAFSP), to support its agriculture value chain development project.
