16/02/2015 - The Technical Review Committee of the Africa Trade Fund (AfTra) at its meeting on February 13, 2015 in Abidjan, approved funding worth more than US $1.4 million for four projects that will support trade development in Africa. AfTra, a trade-related technical assistance facility hosted by the African Development Bank, was established in 2013 to provide funding for trade facilitation, building capacity for trade institutions, and developing products and markets in Africa.

15/12/2014 - The African Water Facility announced on December 15 that is has offered a €3.4 million grant to the Government of Mozambique to conduct a feasibility study for the development of a climate adaptation project in the lower Limpopo region.

11/12/2014 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et le gouvernement mauritanien ont signé, ce 11 décembre 2014 à Abidjan, trois accords de don totalisant plus de 24 millions de dollars EU.

Ces dons, destinés à favoriser une croissance inclusive dans le pays, financeront la composante mauritanienne du Programme de renforcement de la résilience à l’insécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle au Sahel, ainsi que le Projet d’appui à la gouvernance pour la promotion d’une croissance inclusive et le Projet d’appui à la formation et l’emploi des jeunes dans le pays.

10/12/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group, during its ordinary sitting on Tuesday December 10, 2014 in Abidjan, approved the second phase of Uganda’s Markets and Agricultural Trade Improvement Program (MATIP 2), aimed to reconstruct an additional 11 of the remaining 14 markets in four regions in the country.

27/11/2014 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé, mercredi 26 Novembre 2014 à Abidjan, deux prêts d’un montant global d’environ 59 millions de dollars américains (USD) pour contribuer au financement de la deuxième phase du Projet de Réhabilitation et d’Extension du Périmètre de Bas-Mangoky (PRPBM II), dans la région Sud-Ouest de Madagascar.

26/11/2014 - La République tunisienne recevra 30,458 millions d’Euros pour l’extension de la première phase du projet de développement agricole intégré (PDAI) de Gabès, suite à l’approbation faite par les administrateurs du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), mercredi 26 Novembre 2014, à Abidjan. Ce montant sera financé grâce à un prêt BAD de 20,652 millions d’Euros, une contribution du Gouvernement tunisien de 7,285 millions d’Euros et 2,521 millions d’Euros par la Banque Tunisienne de Solidarité. La durée de mise en œuvre du Projet sera de 5 ans.

17/10/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group on Wednesday, October 15 in Abidjan approved a US $40-million 10-year Line of Credit (LoC) for a pipeline of projects covering various economic sectors (agro/food, infrastructure, manufacturing, education sectors) in the East African Community (EAC) countries of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The projects aim to promote economic growth.
