29/06/2011 - The Boards of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group today approved a grant of USD67.23 million (Units of Account 42 million) in funding for Phase II of the Gitega-Nyangungu-Ngozi road project in Burundi.

24/02/2011 - «La BAD est le partenaire privilégié dans l’appui de nos réformes économiques et dans la réalisation des principales infrastructures économiques du Burundi ». Mme Clotilde Nizigama, ministre des finances du Burundi et gouverneur de la BAD, a fait cette déclaration, le 23 février 2011 à Tunis, lors de la cérémonie de signature d’un protocole d’accord de don de 24,1 millions d’unités de compte, soit environ 40 milliards de Francs burundais avec la BAD.

28/05/2010 - En marge des 45e Assemblées annuelles du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), qui se tiennent depuis le 27 mai 2010 à Abidjan, a eu la signature d’un accord de don d’environ 15 millions USD portant financement du troisième programme d’appui aux réformes économiques (PARE III) entre la Banque et la République de Burundi.

20/05/2010 - The African Development bank (AfDB) Group Board of Directors met on Wednesday, 19 May 2010 in Tunis and approved over USD 313 for five operations. Under the approvals Liberia will received USD 39.40 million comprising an ADF grant and a Fragile States Facility (FSF) grant: to finance the country’s urban water supply and sanitation project. The provision of water supply and sanitation on a sustainable basis to rural and urban dwellers in Liberia constitutes a priority development objective for the government, which significantly contributes to the fight against poverty and disease.

19/11/2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the AfDB Group approved in Tunis on Tuesday, 17 November 2009, combined loans and grants worth USD 8.15 million to finance a multinational Railway Project Study in Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.
25/09/2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessionary window of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) approved, Friday, 25 September 2009 in Tunis, a grant of 30 million Unit of Accounts (UA), equivalent to 47 million USD, to finance the Bugesera Natural Region Rural Infrastructure Project (Bugesera PAIR).
