11/02/2010 - The Fund for African Private Sector Assistance (FAPA) is a component of the Enhanced Private Sector Assistance Initiative (EPSA), a billion-dollar joint initiative of Japan and the AfDB to promote private sector development in Africa. The FAPA trust fund provides untied grants for studies, technical assistance and capacity building for private sector projects and African institutions.

08/01/2010 - Le Groupe de la Banque et la République Centrafricaine ont signé, le 21 décembre 2009 à Tunis, un protocole de don concernant le projet d’appui à la réhabilitation d’infrastructures rurales (PARIR). D’un montant total de 3.85 millions d’unité de compte (UC), le don vise à augmenter la disponibilité des productions agricoles dans le pays, à travers la réhabilitation des infrastructures rurale et le renforcement des capacités des partenaires.

04/11/2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved, 3 November 2009 in Tunis, an African Development Fund (ADF) grant of UA 7 million and a Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative (RWSSI) grant of UA 3 million to finance drinking water supply and sanitation in three divisional headquarters and surrounding rural areas in Central African Republic (CAR).

22/07/2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved on Monday in Tunis, a Joint Country Partnership Strategy Paper (CPSP), prepared by the AfDB and the World Bank Group for the Central African Republic. The document sets out the common strategy, as well as the proposed financing operations program and analytical work of the two institutions for the CAR for 2009-2012.
