09/12/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved on 7 December a corporate loan of South African rand (ZAR) 65 million equivalent to USD 8 million to Trustco Group Holdings Ltd to support the Trustco Finance student lending program thus improving access to education, employability and job-earning potential of high school graduates in the country.

22/12/2010 - Le Groupe de la Banque Africaine de développement (BAD) et le gouvernement du Niger ont signé le mercredi 22 décembre 2010 à Tunis, des protocoles d’accords de dons et de prêts. Les accords de don du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), de 4,03 millions d'unités de compte*, et de prêt de 23,97 millions d’unités de compte, sont destinés au financement du programme d’appui à la stratégie de développement accéléré et de réduction de la pauvreté (PASDRP-1) au Niger. Ceux concernant le don du FAD, soit 17,63 millions d'unités de compte, et de prêt, soit 7,87 millions d’unités de compte, sont destinés au financement du projet d’appui au développement de la formation et de l’enseignement professionnels et techniques pour le pays (PADFPT).

20/12/2010 - Le Conseil d’Administration du Groupe de la Banque Africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé, le mercredi 15 décembre 2010, l’octroi de prêt et de don pour plus de 39 millions de dollars. Le prêt porte sur 12 millions de dollars et le don est d’un montant de 27 Millions de dollars.

22/07/2009 - Gabon’s efforts to enhance technical skills in potential growth sectors received the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Wednesday in Tunis, where the institution’s Board of Directors approved a loan of CFAF 71.5 billion, equivalent to 99.30 million Units of Account (US$154 million) to finance a Public Services Higher Education and Vocational Training Support Project.

12/05/2009 - The AfDB and Morocco on Friday, May 8, 2009, in Rabat, signed two loan agreements, one guarantee agreement and one grant agreement for three different operations in education, transport and water management sectors. The agreements are worth €317 million, €75 million of which is for the National Education Emergency Programme, € 240 million to finance the Third Airport Project and € 1.892 million grant resources from the African Water Facility to finance the Haouz Water Table Artificial Rehabilitation Pilot Project from the Ghmat water table.
