04/12/2013 - On Tuesday, December 3, the African Development Bank Group’s Board of Directors approved US $55.27 million for the Food Security Consolidation through Development of Irrigation Farming Project (PRESA/DCI) in Mali. The project aims at enhancing sustainable increase in agricultural output and productivity through efficient management of irrigation infrastructure and development of value chains for growth-oriented crop sectors.
10/10/2013 - The African Development Bank Group approved on Wednesday, October 9 a US $75.5 million (UA 50 million) soft loan for Mali to help the country finance a drinking water supply project in Bamako. The project aims to produce an additional 144, 000 cubic metres of drinking water per day from Kabala locality to be supplied to the capital, Bamako.
13/05/2013 - The Emergency Economic Recovery Support Program for Mali approved on 8 May 2013 by the Board of the African Development Fund (ADF) of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) was signed on 10th May 2013 in Bamako. This program will help to restore the normal functioning of public administration, capacity strengthening of the civil service and the population’s access to basic social services, in particular health services and education and support to economic recovery.
08/05/2013 - The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) approved on Wednesday, May 8 in Tunis, a loan of 30 billion CFA francs to the Republic of Mali. This amount will be drawn from the resources of the African Development Fund (ADF), the Bank’s concessional window, to finance an Emergency Economic Recovery Support Programme (EERSP).

With the Bamako Digital Complex, before December 2011, Mali will be connected through fiber optic to six out of its seven neighbors.
07/07/2011 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) approved, during its regular session held on 6 July 2011, four development projects totaling USD 157 million.
08/12/2010 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved on Monday, 6 December 2010 in Tunis, a € 30-million senior private sector loan and a €35 million loan from the public sector window to finance the Markala Sugar project (MSP) in Mali. The two loans amount to €65 million, equivalent to CFAF 42.5 billion.
