09/09/2011 - On 7 September, the African Development Bank Board of Executive Directors approved a USD 22.5m African Development Fund loan to the Republic of Mali to finance a major digital complex in the capital, Bamako. “This project is important for my country and the first of its kind in West Africa. With the Bamako Digital Complex, before December 2011, Mali will be connected through fiber optic to six out of its seven neighbors.

08/12/2010 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved on Monday, 6 December 2010 in Tunis, a € 30-million senior private sector loan and a €35 million loan from the public sector window to finance the Markala Sugar project (MSP) in Mali. The two loans amount to €65 million, equivalent to CFAF 42.5 billion.

02/12/2009 - Le vice-président du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) chargé des opérations sectorielles, M. Kamal El Kheshen, et l’ambassadeur du Mali en Tunisie, M. Mbarakou Arafa Askia Touré, ont signé, le mardi 1er décembre 2009 à Tunis, un accord portant sur un prêt supplémentaire d’un montant équivalent à 7 milliards FCFA, octroyé par la Banque pour soutenir le programme d’appui à la stratégie pour la réduction de la pauvreté et la croissance (PASRPC) au Mali et pour atténuer les effets des conséquences de la crise internationale sur le pays.

05/06/2009 - Le Conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de développement (FAD) a approuvé, en sa session du 27 mai 2009, à Tunis, l’octroi d’un prêt de 33,6 milliards de F CFA, soit environ 65,65 millions de dollars E.U., pour le financement du Programme de développement de l’irrigation dans le bassin du Bani et à Sélingué (PDI-BS), au Mali.
