11/11/2011 - Agriculture has been identified as a priority sector for economic growth and poverty reduction in the Democratic Republic of Congo. To this effect, a grant for a Rural Infrastructure Development Support Project approved on 11 November 2011 in Tunis by the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, will enhance the government’s effort to improve food security and poverty reduction.

29/09/2011 - The African Development Bank Board of Directors has approved a USD 24-million loan to finance Zambia’s fourth poverty reduction budget support program. The African Development Fund (ADF) loan is part of USD 159 million budget support operation financed by World Bank ($30 m loan), European Commission ($43.5 m grant), UK’s Department for International Development ($41.6 m grant), Germany ($13.6 m grant), and Finland ($6.8 grant).

BAD-Burunudi

24/02/2011 - «La BAD est le partenaire privilégié dans l’appui de nos réformes économiques et dans la réalisation des principales infrastructures économiques du Burundi ». Mme Clotilde Nizigama, ministre des finances du Burundi et gouverneur de la BAD, a fait cette déclaration, le 23 février 2011 à Tunis, lors de la cérémonie de signature d’un protocole d’accord de don de 24,1 millions d’unités de compte, soit environ 40 milliards de Francs burundais avec la BAD.

23/02/2011 - The Congo Basin Forest Fund (CBFF) has signed on Monday 21st February 2011 in Tunis (Tunisia), an agreement about the management of CBFF projects. The Fund Management Agency (FMA) will be a consortium made of Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) and the foundation Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) and will assist the Bank manage CBFF operations under a threshold value of Euros 2.5 million.

10/02/2011 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 1er février 2011 un don supplémentaire de 1,2 million de dollars en faveur de Djibouti à travers le guichet concessionnel du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), dans le cadre du financement du Programme de réduction de la pauvreté urbaine (PREPUD).

20/12/2010 - Le Conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de Développement (FAD), du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement, a accordé lundi 6 décembre 2010 à Tunis, un prêt de plus de 28 millions d’euros et un don de plus de 4,5 millions d’euros au Niger, pour financer le Programme d’appui à la stratégie de développement accéléré et de réduction de la pauvreté du Niger (PASDRP I).
