11/08/2006 - The President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, Mr. Donald Kaberuka and the Tanzanian Finance Minister, Mrs. Zakia Meghji, on Wednesday in Dar es Salaam signed a loan agreement of 50 million Units of Account, equivalent to US$ 74 million or 926 billion Tanzanian Shillings, to support the government’s poverty reduction efforts and to improve social indicators in the country.

18/05/2005 - Abuja, 18 May 2005 – The Acting Vice President for the North, South and East operations of the ADB Group, Mrs. Zeinab El Bakri and the Tanzanian Deputy Minister for Finance, Mr.Abdisalaam Issa Khatibu, signed today in Abuja a grant agreement of 1.66 million Units of Account (UA*) (about US$ 2.5 million) in favour of Tanzania for the Multinational Isaka-Kigali Railway Study between Tanzania and Rwanda.
