Cependant, la situation reste préoccupante, en dépit de l’énorme potentiel du continent en ressources naturelles et humaines », a-t-il ajouté.

11/06/2012 - The railways sector development project in the East African Community (EAC) region was at the center of discussions during the Bank’s 2012 Annual Meetings in Arusha, Tanzania. A joint funding grant accord was signed on June 1, between the EAC, the Indian Trust Fund and the NEPAD-Infrastructure Preparation Project Facility, to modernize and improve the railway sector in the region.

15/09/2009 - Bank Group President, Donald Kaberuka, has approved a €1,430,000 grant from the African Water Facility (AWF) for the implementation of the regional water policy within the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS). Estimated at € 2,263,000, the project will attract €1,430,000 from the African Water Facility, while IPPF-NEPAD will contribute €490,000.
