04/05/2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) held its inaugural Annual Syndications and Co-financiers meeting in London on 24th April, 2012. The event was intended to broaden and deepen the pool of AfDB’s co-financing partners for private sector operations, primarily among commercial investors, but also other development financial institutions and export credit agencies.

03/05/2012 - In the wake of the Arab Spring, the emerging political landscape in North Africa promises to give new impetus to regional integration efforts, according to a new study from the African Development Bank (AfDB). The report - entitled, Unlocking North Africa's potential through Regional Integration - reviews the prospects for the region as new democratically-elected governments seek to promote inclusive growth and build institutions for good governance. The diversity of resource endowments in the region, coupled with the existing physical infrastructure, represent an important opportunity to further development through integration.
