Si la perspective de revenus gigantesques peut sembler enivrante, elle pose aussi l’enjeu de la bonne gestion de cette recette stratégique, un élément crucial du fait que certains pays, même dotés d’abondantes ressources hydrocarbures, n’ont pas encore emprunté, loin s’en faut, la route du développement durable.

09/07/2010 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group and Tunisia State oil corporation, the Entreprise Tunisienne d'Activités Pétrolières (ETAP), signed on Thursday, 8 July 2010 in Tunis, a USD 150-million corporate loan agreement, to support its 2009-2010 investment plan including financing the country’s Hasdrubal oil & gas field development project.

16/06/2010 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved a supplementary loan of UA 22.05 million* (USD 32.5 million) to Kenya under the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the Group. The additional loan will finance the Kenya-Uganda transmission line and sub-station reinforcement within Kenya. The Kenya-Uganda transmission line is part of the Nile Equatorial Lakes (NEL) Countries Electric Grids Interconnection Project.

20/05/2010 - The African Development bank (AfDB) Group Board of Directors met on Wednesday, 19 May 2010 in Tunis and approved over USD 313 for five operations. Under the approvals Liberia will received USD 39.40 million comprising an ADF grant and a Fragile States Facility (FSF) grant: to finance the country’s urban water supply and sanitation project. The provision of water supply and sanitation on a sustainable basis to rural and urban dwellers in Liberia constitutes a priority development objective for the government, which significantly contributes to the fight against poverty and disease.

29/04/2010 - Le Conseil d'administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 28 avril 2010 à Tunis un prêt senior équivalant à 26 millions d'euros pour financer un projet d'énergie Dibamba, au Cameroun. Ce prêt est réalisé au titre des opérations du guichet du secteur privé de la Banque.
