19/10/2011 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et le gouvernement tunisien ont signé aujourd’hui un accord de financement de 183 millions de dinars tunisiens (95 millions d’euros). Ce financement vise à soutenir le renforcement de l’accès à l’eau potable dans les zones rurales, une des priorités de la Tunisie.

29/09/2011 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) has called for speed in the delivery of international assistance to Tunisia as the country goes through political and economic change. AfDB President Donald Kaberuka made the call at the first meeting of the European Union/Tunisia Task Force in Tunis on Wednesday, 28 September.

14/07/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) on 13 July approved a USD 50-million line of credit in support of Tunisia’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), to help mitigate the funding challenges facing the country under difficult economic circumstances.

13/07/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a €20-million equity investment in the Maghreb Private Equity Fund III (MPEF III). This third-generation multi-sector private equity fund will target investments in Small and Medium Enterprises in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and, according to emerging investment opportunities, Egypt.

22/06/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) on 21 June 2011 approved a loan of €137.34 million to fund the motorway link between Gabes, Medenine, and Ras Jedir in Tunis. The loan granted to the Tunisia Highways Corporation, and guaranteed by the government, will be used to fund the Medenine to Ras Jedir part of the link.
