18/02/2013 - The African Development Fund (ADF) was created in 1972 to accompany the least fortunate African economies on the road to social and economic progress. At the time it is celebrating its 40th anniversary, this African Development Bank group (AfDB)’s window for grants and concessional loans can be proud of its several decades of achievements and numerous results to showcase its contribution to improving the lives of Africans.

11/02/2013 - Le ministre sénégalais de l’Hydraulique et de l’Assainissement, Oumar Guèye, était en visite de travail le 6 février à la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) à Tunis, où il a rencontré le Président, Donald Kaberuka. Kaberuka et son hôte ont évoqué les modalités de financement pour 2014 du projet sectoriel d’eau et d’assainissement au Sénégal. D’un montant de 40 millions d’Unités de compte, soit environ 46 milliards de FCFA, ce projet s’inscrit dans le cadre du Fonds de l’Initiative pour l’approvisionnement en eau et assainissement.

10/12/2012 - The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is pleased to announce the 3rd call for proposals of the Migration and Development Fund (MDF). Award amounts will range from 350,000 EUR to 500,000 EUR per project.

19/11/2012 - The Government of Senegal hosted the West Africa Regional Conference on Youth Employment on Saturday, November 10 in Dakar. The one-day conference, co-organized by the African Development Bank and the OECD Development Centre, brought together West African Ministers, youth organizations, civil society and the private sector.

07/11/2012 - The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is pleased to announce the 2nd call for proposals of the Microfinance Capacity Building Fund (“MCBF”). Award amounts will range from US $200,000 to US $500,000 per project, depending on the activity, and will be given to approximately 6-8 awardees.
