06/09/2012 - L’Aéroport International Blaise Diagne (AIBD) est en cours de construction sur un nouveau site situé à 45km à l’est de Dakar. L’AIBD aura une capacité de 3 millions de passagers et comprendra les installations suivantes : un terminal de 42.000 m2, une piste de 3,5 km de long avec des voies de circulation, 30 postes de stationnement d’avions avec 6 postes de stationnement au contact, un terminal de fret, un pavillon présidentiel, un terminal Hadj, ainsi que d’autres composantes.

24/07/2012 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) vient d’octroyer 80 milliards de FCFA au Burkina Faso pour la réhabilitation de routes et la facilitation du transport sur le corridor avec le Togo. La cérémonie de signature de l’accord de financement a eu lieu le jeudi 19 juillet 2012, à Ouagadougou, entre le gouvernement du Burkina Faso, représenté par M. Lucien Marie Noël Bembamba, ministre de l’économie et des finances et la Banque, représentée par Mme Ginette Nzau-Muteta, représentante résidente de la Banque africaine de développement au Burkina Faso.

29/06/2012 - Le Conseil d’administration de la BAD a approuvé, le 27 juin à Tunis, le financement de la réhabilitation et le bitumage de 303 km de route sur le corridor international Lomé-Ouagadougou, dont 150 km au Togo et 153 km au Burkina Faso. Le projet comporte également des aménagements connexes tels que la construction de plus de 100 km de pistes rurales, la réhabilitation d’infrastructures sociales et d’appui aux femmes, ainsi que deux volets importants pour la facilitation du transport et le renforcement des capacités.

03/04/2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) held a workshop on decentralization and transport projects with its development partners in East Africa in Nairobi on 21 and 22 March, where it was agreed to strengthen aid coordination to improve the efficiency of transport projects in the region.

19/12/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved, on 16 December, funding of USD 107.4 million for the construction of the Trans-Gambia Bridge and Cross Border Improvement Project. The financing package, which is being extended through the African Development Fund (ADF), the African Development Bank Group’s concessionary lending window, comprises an outright grant of USD 102.3 million and ADF concessionary resources of USD 5.1 million.

28/09/2011 - Le Conseil d’administration de la Banque africaine de développement a, ce jour, à Tunis approuvé un prêt de 230 millions d’Unités de Compte (MUC) soit 370,3 millions de dollars EU, pour financer la deuxième phase du Programme Routier(PR2) au Gabon.
