22/04/2010 - Bank Group President, Donald Kaberuka, on Tuesday, 20 April 2010 in Tunis, received Senegal’s international cooperation and infrastructure minister, Karim Wade. Discussions between both men focused on the excellent cooperation between the Bank and Senegal. They also reviewed Bank-financed projects in the country.

30/03/2010 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group and the Dubai Port World Dakar (DPWD) on Wednesday, 31 March 2010 in Dubai signed an agreement for a €47.5 million senior loan to finance the upgrading of the container terminal at the Dakar sea port in Senegal.

02/07/2009 - In line with its commitment to support integrated infrastructure development in the Regional Member Countries, the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved a US$ 326 million (210 million UA) loan to finance the second phase of the Mombasa-Nairobi-Addis Ababa Road Corridor Project. It involves the construction and tarring of 438 km road sections including 245 km Merille River-Marsabit-Turbi road section in Kenya and 193 km Ageremariam-Yabelo-Mega road section in Ethiopia, the construction of roadside socio-economic infrastructure, and the construction of a One-Stop-Border-Post.
24/06/2009 - As part of the strategy to boost infrastructure development and regional economic integration in Africa, the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Wednesday in Tunis, approved two loans amounting to US$ 181 million, (117.04 million Units of Account UA*) to Mozambique and Malawi to finance the construction of the first phase of the Nacala Road Corridor, which links the two countries and Zambia.

14/05/2009 - With promises of a liberal economy, new investment code, free export company status, operate as well as transfer incentives, Senegal in conjunction with the African Development Bank, on Thursday, May 14, in Dakar, hosted an investment forum to woo investors to the country.
12/05/2009 - The AfDB and Morocco on Friday, May 8, 2009, in Rabat, signed two loan agreements, one guarantee agreement and one grant agreement for three different operations in education, transport and water management sectors. The agreements are worth €317 million, €75 million of which is for the National Education Emergency Programme, € 240 million to finance the Third Airport Project and € 1.892 million grant resources from the African Water Facility to finance the Haouz Water Table Artificial Rehabilitation Pilot Project from the Ghmat water table.
