The TA project involves the training of staff of about 1,000 branches and 3,000 agents. There will be 3 agents assigned to each mobile-money-enabled branch.

The training of branch staff and agents not only aims for the trainee to have a clear understanding of the service it is also crucial for these front office people to be comfortable in using the service in order to better serve and register customers. An important part of the training session is composed of practical manipulations using mobile phones. For that reason the training team will always be composed of at least two trainers working in pairs. The training is carried out by trainers trained by MOSS-ICT . The training content covers the use of services, and how to educate customers to use the services, on the costs, and how to protect themselves from the risks involved.

Rationale

To successfully launch M-Birr, a mobile money platform to be used by the five MFI shareholders of AODAOE Inclusive Finance Technology Share Company. Benefits
