AFMI Structure
The work of AFMI is organized around two separate but complementary components:
- the creation of an African Financial Markets Database (AFMD); and
- the creation of an African Domestic Bond Fund (ADBF).
Potential participants in AFMI include development partners, regional bodies such as the Association of African Central Banks, the African Central Banks themselves, and a variety of experts from both, the public and private sector are expected to take part in the AFMI. Activities related to each component will pursue specific objectives and will be performed by dedicated working groups.
