16/12/2011 - The African Development Bank’s Group Board of Directors approved an African Development Fund (ADF) grant of USD 19.2 million to Eritrea on November 30, 2011 to improve equitable access, quality and relevance of technical, vocational education and training. The project will be financed jointly by an ADF grant of USD 18.65 million and an Eritrean Government’s contribution of USD 2.06 million.

28/05/2010 - Abidjan, le 27 mai 2010- La BAD a octroyé jeudi 27 mai 2010 un don d’une valeur de 12,9 millions USD au gouvernement de l’Etat de l’Erythrée, au terme de la signature d’une convention de subvention pour appuyer le développement des ressources humaines du pays dans le secteur de l’enseignement supérieur.

29/04/2010 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF) on Wednesday, 28 April 2010 approved a ADF grant of UA 12.9 million* (equivalent to USD 20 million) to support a higher education development project in Eritrea. The project is aimed at scaling up human resources development in order to further enhance economic growth programmes and reduce poverty in the country. The project will specifically contribute to building capacity for teaching, research and service in the country’s higher education institutions.
